Junk Paper is an ongoing battle against unnecessary paper waste. It all started a few years ago when one of the printers in my office spewed out hundreds upon hundreds of pages of (almost) blank paper due to a corrupted file. Because of that one or two lines of gobbledygook on every sheet, it all ended up in the (recycling) bin.

I decided to rescue and repurpose it into notepads as an excuse to shamelssly fish for internet points.

The power of design

The idea of my Junk Paper Notepads is to challenge the idea of imperfect paper. If you’re just doing a quick, throw-away sketch or to-do list, do you really need a pristine piece of pearl white paper?

If you collect these imperfect sheets and bind them with a nice cover they suddenly feel a lot more valuable.
